Lily and James were literally academic rivals to lovers idc fight me in this one. They were so nerdy. They'd catch each other in the corridors like "What did u get om that test?" James would sit on his bed all night studying and annoting his peers because he "had to beat Lily in Charms" and Lily all the same would be in the libary all weekend because she "has to drag Potter in transfig"

That man was a sporty athletic nerd who everyone thought was a stupid himbo.
